A dated docket, not a recycled blog. Each line is a checkable event.

US and Chinese search engines treat dated, unique entries as a living record. This page is the chronology behind the photographs.

Serta has still not named a case owner

As of 2026-09-12, this complaint remains unanswered in substance. That is 71 days after the first written notice (2026-07-03) and 58 days after the sixth notice (2026-07-16). The seventh notice (2026-07-18) asked Serta to substantiate the premium, origin, model and service claims used to sell this mattress. No named case owner, case number, inspection appointment, official-channel invoice or refund has been published here.

  • What is still missing

A named officer at Serta Simmons Bedding or Serta China; an in-person manufacturer inspection; the exact model mapping among Storini, Sari/San Sebastian, AvantGarde and W13118HM; decoded QR/barcode records; and proof that the ~US$23,000 payment went through an official authorised channel.

  • What this site now adds

A US-headquarters briefing, a China-market briefing, a dated timeline, a search-oriented FAQ, and a label/code index — so US and Chinese searchers, journalists and regulators can find the same primary record.

  • Daily public clock

The day-count on this page is refreshed every day until Serta answers. Repeating the same article is not the point. The point is a dated, checkable fact: the silence is still running.

Earlier notices, evidence-preservation requests, the apology demand and the refund demand remain expressly reserved. Unproven legal labels are still put as questions.

  • 2026-03-20

Purchase — Mattress sold as Serta Storini King Size, American brand, New Zealand import, premium quality. Price about US$23,000 / HK$168,180. Dealer identity withheld for Serta to identify from its own records.

  • 2026-04-02

China label production date — A product label later photographed on the mattress shows specification 200*220~L2201, a Huizhou manufacturing place, and production date 2026/04/02.

  • 2026-05-07

Sari / San Sebastian label date — A label image visibly reads 07/05/26 Thu and Sari/San Sebastian Matt 220x200 - W13118HM — a different name from the Storini model sold.

  • 2026-07-01

Delivery — Mattress left outdoors about 24 hours; force-folded nearly 90 degrees; 70-year-old mother made to help lift; rubbish and old mattress left in the home; customer later blocked on phone and WeChat.

  • 2026-07-03

First written notice and public site — First complaint email. Public illustrated record goes live at serta.asia in multiple languages.

  • 2026-07-07

Third notice — QR / barcode traceability — Four product-label photographs added (QR, barcode, serial-style codes, quality and origin markings) and sent with a third written notice.

  • 2026-07-08

Fourth notice — double standard and channel control — Written notice putting alleged discriminatory double standards, violent folding and Serta China channel-control failure on the record, with a preservation request.

  • 2026-07-12

Fifth notice — money trail — Supplementary notice asking why a genuine product paid in full has no named authorised channel and no official-channel invoice, and why the customer was blocked after paying.

  • 2026-07-16

Sixth notice — workmanship video; bounce clean-up — Website audit; additional model label; full-mattress photograph; close-up AvantGarde badge video. Several previously used addresses bounce or reject external senders.

  • 2026-07-18

Seventh notice — advertising substantiation — Notice requiring substantiation of premium, origin, model and service claims, and recording that US, EU, Hong Kong and Mainland advertising/consumer channels are being prepared.

  • 2026-09-12

Public record expanded; still no substantive reply — US HQ briefing, China briefing, FAQ, label index and this timeline published. Day-count of unanswered notices begins daily refresh. Eighth written notice issued the same day.
