FIRST WRITTEN NOTICE — 3 July 2026

To Serta / Serta Simmons Bedding / Serta China.

Jason Tam purchased a mattress sold as Serta Storini King Size on 20 March 2026 in Hong Kong for about US$23,000 / HK$168,180, delivered 1 July 2026. Sold as an American brand, imported from New Zealand, premium quality.

Before payment: every request granted.
After payment: more than 20 assurances broken.

Facts with photographs:
1. Outdoor exposure about 24 hours, unattended, sun and rain.
2. Pre-sale promise to unwrap, set up, and wrap the old mattress — void after payment.
3. Strap force-folding; 70-year-old mother made to help lift; verbal 'cannot be damaged'.
4. Dropped on the bed and left; a single worker sent near 11 p.m., still unable, left again.
5. Packaging rubbish dumped in the home.
6. Chat log: 'one hour away' from 1 p.m. to midnight.
7. Paying customer blocked on phone and WeChat.

The dealer is deliberately not named. Serta is to identify the authorised dealer from its own records.

Demand: written answers, public apology, identification of the dealer, manufacturer opinion on folding and exposure, full refund.
